Terms of Service

1. Services

Yellow Bins provides bin-rental services for residential, commercial, and contractor clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We also offer special-waste rentals (including asbestos) and recycling bins for clean concrete and other approved materials.

2. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings must be paid in full before delivery.
• A valid credit card must be saved on file via Stripe or another secure platform.
• Included disposal tonnage varies by bin; additional weight is charged at $85 per metric tonne (MT).
• Overloaded bins: $50 fee.
• Dry-run deliveries/pickups: $95 fee if access is blocked or unsafe.
• Extended rentals may incur daily or weekly charges according to current rates.

3. Customer Responsibilities

• Placement requests are welcome, but the driver has final discretion for safety and ease of pickup.
• Sites must be clear and accessible on delivery and pickup days.
• Customers are responsible for the bin's condition while on-site, including theft, loss, or damage.
• Prohibited materials: motor oil, hydraulic fluid, paint, fuel, solvents, hazardous waste, compressed gas cylinders, car batteries, propane tanks, and any flammable or toxic substances.
• Yellow Bins may refuse pickup or charge contamination fees if prohibited or unsafe materials are detected.

4. Liability & Property Damage

• Yellow Bins is not responsible for any damage to pavement, curbs, lawns, driveways, or surfaces caused by truck movement or bin placement.
• Although significant damage is highly unlikely, customers are welcome and recommended to protect surfaces with wood boards or plywood before delivery.
• By accepting service, you release Yellow Bins Inc. from liability for direct, indirect, or incidental damages related to placement, weight, or misuse.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancel more than 24 hours before scheduled delivery: refund minus transaction fees.
• Cancel within 24 hours: non-refundable.
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

• You agree not to misuse, copy, or interfere with our website or systems.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yellow Bins Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including property damage, income loss, or business interruption. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in Alberta courts.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always appear on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of any revisions.
